Due to recent guidelines issued by federal, state, and local health agencies to slow the spread of COVID-19, we are going to suspend classes.
For our population (young, healthy, relatively good-looking) our risk is low for morbidity and we do not think the risk of transmission is particularly high for our classes at this time. However, we do want to err on the side of caution in order to protect the elderly and immunocompromised and take measures to reduce the possibility of transmission so as not to overload healthcare resources. In the meantime, it’s a great time to put into action all those great aikido skills you have been practicing all this time! Practice breathing exercises (alone)! Work on your posture in a mirror. Try balancing on one foot! Integrate our basic principles into daily life and be a leader for others in this crisis. We will let you know when we can resume class. Stay healthy and don’t worry! |
